A new english web portal assists in the systematic investigation of health problems and subjective disorders arising at indoor workplaces.
Under the title of "Without Borders and Barriers", the English version of the DGUV Yearbook 2015/2016 was published. The main topics are "Good, safe work in Germany, Europe and Worldwide", "Rehabilitation and Participation" and "Future of Work".
A recent study by the German Social Accident Insurance produces surprising results. The Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) has conducted a research project in which it recorded and interpreted detailed exposure data for the most diverse of tasks performed outdoors.
The risk of suffering an occupational accident in Germany fell once again last year, despite employment having continued to rise. 1.5% more hours were worked than in the previous year.
