As digitalisation continues, work forms and locations will change. As a result, the way work is organised is changing as well as the demands placed on leadership. Promoting a culture of prevention in companies and organisations can encourage greater self-responsibility for one’s own safety and health at work, as well as support leadership and the motivation of employees. The DGUV launched a long-term campaign in 2017 to promote the culture of prevention. The goal of a comprehensive culture of prevention – in terms of the prevention campaign on Culture of Prevention - is Vision Zero, a world without occupational accidents and work-related diseases.
